My Favorite Hawaii Memories!

I am one of the luckiest people alive! I was able to spend three wonderful years living on the island of Oahu. I was able to travel to Maui, Lanai, Kauai and the Big Island too! I was able to hike different trails and experience the beautiful waterfalls of the islands.

I feel in love with shrimp! The best fresh shrimp you can buy is from Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck in Haleiwa! Their garlic shrimp is absolutely to die for! I would love to go there for lunch right now and chow down!

Off of the smallest islands is Lanai, We took a ferry from Maui just so we could go off-roading in a 4WD jeep. It was quite the experience! Visiting the historical landmarks and seeing a rare Hawaiian Monk seal was awesome!

Pearl Harbor National Memorial is always a must see when visiting Oahu! It was remarkable to see this historic place in person. The Visitor Center, Museums, and the USS Arizona Memorial are open to the public for free. We were able to spend a few hours exploring this memorial.

Being able to zipline over Kolekole falls was spectacular! Feel free to check out a short clip of the adventure!

I was able to experience a couple different luaus! It is hard to say which one was the best but totally worth it each time! (Paradise Cove is a great one if you are struggling to pick!)

Being from Idaho, I did not have that much experience with swimming in the ocean. I absolutely love to snorkel and even became open water dive certified! I can’t wait to get back to the ocean to explore the coral and colorful fish!

Overall, Hawaii was a pretty good experience! I met some amazing people who I call my family and closest friends. I loved being able to travel to most of the different islands and really experience the culture of Hawaii. It truly was a great adventure with wonderful access to amazing beaches, trails and lush green mountains.
