My Mom’s Little Backyard Paradise

Growing up, my mother taught me to love birds and flowers and springtime! When blossoms open
up and the tulips and daffodil’s bloom it is my favorite time of year! My parents have worked on
cultivating their backyard into a birds’ paradise. Luckily, I was able to spend a few days watching the
birds and flowers before I headed off to Germany.

One my mom’s favorite bird’s if the goldfinch! She talked about how many years it took them the
goldfinches to come when they first bought the house. If you could see my mom’s face light up
when she see’s a bird at one of her feeders.

Daffodil’s are usually the first flowers to bloom in spring. They open up bright and beautiful looking
forward to a wonderful spring.

Apple tree blossoms from my parents two apple tree’s always brighten the soft green grass
background. Between all the birds singing and the flowers blooming, I think my parents have figured
out their own little backyard paradise!
